UK National Wildlife Crime Unit (NWCU)

The main role of the UK National Wildlife Crime Unit (NWCU) is to assist in the prevention and detection of wildlife crime. They do this by obtaining and disseminating information from a wide range of organisations and by assisting police forces in wildlife crime investigation. They produce analysis which highlights local or national threats. They are also the conduit between police forces and PAW partners.
